· Mathiasen Machinery buys and sells USED wire and cable machinery.
· Machinery is purchased for inventory or it can be sold on an exclusive basis.  MMI has interest in locating individual machines, complete lines or entire plants.  Consignments, warehousing, appraisals and liquidation services are also offered.
· MMI has buyers seeking all types of good quality used wire and cable machinery.  Inventory, for-sale and wanted lists are updated regularly.
Provide prompt delivery of photos (mailed or emailed), video, and/or on-site inspections.  MMI arranges for competitively priced transit and quick delivery upon payment.

· Domestic and international.  Active in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, Europe, and Asia.
· Ferrous and Non-ferrous production machinery.

Company History:
Mathiasen Machinery, Inc. was founded in 1983 by William (Bill) Mathiasen.  At that time, Bill had over 30 years of experience in the wire and cable industry with Syncro Machinery; Hudson Wire Company; and Anaconda Wire and Cable.

Mark Mathiasen joined the company as sales engineer one year later.  The growing company moved from a home operation in 1988 when the East Haddam warehouse and office location was purchased.  In 1993, Michael Mathiasen was hired as sales engineer and Mark was promoted to Vice President.

Bill retired in 1996 and his two sons assumed daily operation of the company.  Mark was promoted to President and Michael to Vice President.  Bill passed away on October 7, 2008 at the age of 77. His spirit remains.
